Maria Loram

I’m Maria Loram, a ceramic artist based in Los Angeles. I create sculptural lighting and vessels through a process that merges wheel work and handbuilding, shaped by intuition and a deep relationship with clay, glazes, and paper.

My work lives between the raw and the refined — drawn to texture, the surreal, and the otherworldly. Inspired by wabi-sabi, the cosmos, and the philosophy of non-duality, each piece is a quiet meditation — a search for surface, stillness, and something beyond the visible.

I welcome commissions for sculptural lighting and vessels — from site-specific works to hospitality and interior design projects. Whether it's a single object or a large-scale installation, each piece is shaped in dialogue with your vision.
